Travel in the UK - Stephs World - Wembley - Travel in the UK - Stephs World - Wembley - Just a Girl with a Blog

Hi everyone! My name is Sam and I’m 22 years old. My blog is about anything and everything I feel like discussing. A few things I’ve discuss are things like anxiety, disabilities and university.

Why I chose to write about Wembley…

From South London, I moved to Wembley to study, where I have lived for the last 3 years, whilst studying Football Business and Media.

5 things to see and do in Wembley

Sightseeing in London

On the Jubilee Line you are able to visit many places in London. This includes the London Eye, Houses of Parliament and Oxford Street.

Yo Sushi

Ever since my first visit on my 20th birthday I love sushi! You can easily get there from Wembley Park tube station to Finchley Road, from there it’s just a short walk.

There are plenty of places to go shopping in Wembley and easy ways to get there. Just by Wembley Stadium there is the London Designer Outlet which has plenty of things to do.

Watkins Folly

Ever since my first year at university, I absolutely love this place! Towards the end of my degree I was probably in this place three or four times a week! Now yes it is a restaurant come day and bar/club at night (Friday night and weekends) but it also shows sport fixtures. This was and still is the best where I have amazing memories with my friends.

Based in Harrow, I must admit I only actually did this once. As me and my friends only discovered it after the end of our third year. It was absolutely hilarious and just a nice time out. There are different options 9 hole golf course, adventure golf and a driving range.

There are plenty of other things to do in the area like a Wembley Stadium tour, watch a film in Cineworld in the London Designer Outlet, or even take part in the atmosphere on a Wembley Stadium or Arena event day!

Sam’s Recommendation for Food & Drink in Wembley

As mentioned there are tons of places to eat in the area, in the Outlet there is Subway, Frankie & Benny’s, Nando’s and Pizza Express. Another amazing place to eat is The Torch which is just a short walk from Wembley Park tube station.

I also must add that there are multiple hotels in the Wembley area which may be a good option for anyone wanting to visit, as Central London is only a tube ride away.

Thank you to Sam for taking part in the Travel in the UK Guest Blogger Series. You can catch up with the rest of the series on Steph’s World.
