Hi and welcome to Steph’s World & the Christmas Blogger Q&A Series. As the series has now come to an end, and it’s Christmas Day; I have decided to answer the questions which I asked all of my 21 Guest Bloggers. To learn more about this Series, please see my blogpost called ‘Introduction to the Christmas Blogger Q&A‘. So lets get answering the questions…
Steph – Steph’s World
Hi, I’m Steph and I am a 20-something Lifestyle Blogger from the West Midlands, UK. You can find out more about me by clicking on my ‘About Me‘ page.
Question 1 – What is your favourite Christmas memory?
My favourite Christmas memory has got to be from when I was around 6 years old. I came downstairs one Christmas morning and saw my sack of presents in front of the fire. The bag was half full (or empty) and I was disappointed that I didn’t get the present I asked for. I then went into the kitchen as saw more presents including the one I wanted. I was very happy!
Question 2 – Are there any traditions you have around Christmas time?
On Christmas Eve, me and my mom always bake mince pies. My mom doesn’t do much baking, but she can do brilliant pastry! Me, my Mom and Dad then go to church at 7:30pm for the Christmas Carols and remember those who sadly aren’t with us at Christmas. Last year, my boyfriend also came with us which made it extra special. I love singing carols around Christmas.
Question 3 – What is on your Christmas wish list this year?
Well, I did do an open letter to Santa, but in all honesty; I didn’t ask anyone for anything this year. I love getting surprises and I mainly think about what I want to get others, rather than what I want.
Question 4 – Do you like to wear Christmas jumpers, if you do; what is your favourite Christmas jumper?
Do I like Christmas Jumpers? This question was purely set up for me, I’m sorry to all my Guest Bloggers!
I love Christmas Jumpers, so so much. The 1st December comes, and all you can expect to see me in is a Christmas Jumper. I have numerous, but my favourite one is a Rose Gold Reindeer on a gold-y coloured jumper. It was only £8 (I think) from Asda last year. I think Asda do the best Christmas Jumpers!
Question 5 – Do you like to give presents or receive presents?
As I said earlier on, I love giving presents. The whole giving experience is what makes Christmas special for me. I love giving someone a present which I put a lot of thought into, and when they smile at the present; it lets me know I made the right choice. That to me is the best feeling!
I do like to receive presents too though. Who doesn’t?
Question 6 – Do you like the Christmas goodies such as Mince Pies, Christmas Pudding or the limited edition drinks?
If this question was put to me 2 years ago, I would say NO! I have however started to like Mince Pies and this year I have been loving the Starbucks Eggnog Latte and the Costa & any other brand of Warm Spiced Apple Juice. I never would of thought I’d like Warm Apple Juice, but it’s delicious. Great substitute for a tee-total like myself.
Question 7 – What is your favourite part of Christmas dinner?
Stuffing & Cranberry Sauce! I will just leave it there!
Question 8 – What is your favourite Christmas Song?
Well, I did a whole blogpost about my favourite Christmas songs; but for this post I am going to have to agree with Gwennan as it’s such a highly played song in my house over Christmas. So I choose, Christmas Wrapping by The Waitresses.
Question 9 – Are you taking part in Blogmas or Vlogmas this year?
As you may already know, I did my own version of Blogmas in the form of a Christmas Blogger Q&A Series which looks like this post. To house this series, I created my own Blogmas Advent Calendar which as you can see, has all 24 days open.
I am also blogging everyday until the end of December, so please remember to check for new posts every day 🙂
Question 10 – Do you have anything exciting coming up on your blog next year?
At the moment I don’t have anything planned for my blog. I am considering doing another Guest Blogger Series in one form or another, so if you wanted to be involved please let me know below, on Twitter or email me at email@example.com. I would love to work with more fabulous bloggers and also companies in 2017.
Thank you to everyone who has taken part in this series. Please check back tomorrow for a recap of all the Christmas Blogger Q&A’s. I can’t thank you all enough for reading the series, commenting and being involved. You have made this Blogmas a very very special one!
